Cranfield Clarke are seeking for aDomestic Violence Perpetrator Specialist Workerfor an authority in London.
This role will act as a recognised expert within the Domestic Violence field, providing high qualityexpertise and specialist consultancy to staff and other professionals and working closely with families affectedby violence and further contributing to the development of Domestic violence informed practice and training.
The post holder will help perpetrators to understand their behaviors and their underlying beliefs and intentions as well as the effects of these behaviors on victims and children. The post holder will co-work cases, working with the perpetrator independently from the allocated Social Worker or lead professional. The post holder will contribute to developing our approach to working with perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse in line with the Domestic Violence Strategy.
Requirements
An essential requirement for the candidate is previous experience working as a domestic abuse perpetrator worker. Social care qualified or similar. spoken and written English to a high level.
