We at Chefs Bay are currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor to work at a caf based in a community youth hub in Liverpool.
This position is temp ongoing and for the right candidate may lead to perm. This client requires someone who can start immediately.
Oversee daily operations of Caf Recharge ensuring quality food service supporting youth programmes and managing catering for events. Responsible for compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily caf operations including budgeting stock control and hygiene.
- Supervise and develop the caf team conduct appraisals and manage schedules.
- Coordinate catering for events ensuring resources and budgets are in place.
- Collaborate with the Youth Manager on food provision for youth programmes.
- Maintain financial procedures stock orders and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and safeguarding regulations.
- Ensure food menu is nutritious and meets the needs of the local community and service users.
- Preparation and delivery of cold drinks and meals .
Requirements:
- Level 3 Professional Catering/Hospitality or recognised Catering qualification
- and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Essential).
- Substantial experience in catering management youth/community settings and performance management.
- Strong communication budget management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and promote continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of meeting dietary requirements for different cultures for example halal foods and recipes.
- This role requires a basic DBS if you have one great if not then you must be happy to obtain one
Position: Catering Supervisor
Contract Duration: 3months initially
Location: Liverpool L8
Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay: 16.50ph holiday pay paid weekly 18.49ph
