We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a CQC Registered Manager. The service is registered to provide accommodation and personal care support for up to 18 people with a learning disability and/or autistic spectrum disorder.
This is a family run business (since 1989), and the purpose-built home is based in the countryside, on a 9-acre farm in a conservation area and about 2 miles from Sandford. They have two other services in the area.
Our client s ethos is based on the principle, that individuals with Autism/Asperger s Syndrome and Learning Disabilities are capable of growth & development.

Job Description
(As the Registered Residential Care Home Manager) To direct and lead the Care Team in the design and delivery of individualized, high-quality Care Plans that are cost-effective and CQC compliant.
Main Duties & Responsibilities.
(In consultation with the Director) Develop objectives and standards for the Care Team
Know, and remain abreast of, all relevant and applicable CQC requirements of CCSH
Be the first point of contact for all CQC liaison in the design & management of Care Plans
Create, maintain and develop a business network of professional client organisation s in order to secure requisite levels of future business
(As a member of SMT) Construct and manage Annual Business Plans and Operational Budgets
Ensure Care Packages are accurately costed and presented to the Director and SMT
Ensure that CQC / CCSH compliance is the minimum standard achieved via the design, implementation, application, maintenance and regular auditing of appropriate policies, processes and procedures, including e.g.
in Resourcing >> Recruitment, Induction, Training and staff rostering
in Staff Development >> Professional Supervision and informal coaching & mentoring structures
in Performance Management >> Disciplinary and Grievance policies and procedures
in the Delivery of Care >> Safeguarding, DOLS, Medication and Infection Management
in the provision of an engaging and safe environment for Service Users via the management of excellent catering, cleaning, property and gardening maintenance contract services
Design and deliver regular Staff Meetings and Briefings e.g. as a Member of the Employee Forum
Undertake PPD and appropriate mentoring in line with CCSH & CQC policy & guidance
Assist the Registered Managers and Director as required
Deliver any other duty commensurate with a role at this level
Regular travel between sites, for which a pool car will be provided
Requirements
Person Specification
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role preferred
Registered Manager status, or formally working towards
Extensive exposure in a regulated environment (e.g. CQC)
Line and Team Management experience essential
L5 or equivalent qualification
Benefits
Salary: 37,500 - 41,000 p.a. depending upon CQC qualifications and experience
Overtime is not payable, but pre-agreed Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) will accrue instead, at a flat rate
Permanent, 40 hours per week
30 days holiday p.a. to include BHs
