Experienced Support Worker Children s

26,000 pa including 2 sleeps a week

250 welcome bonus

40 hours per week


We have positions located in Herne Bay& Canterbury


We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experiencedSupport Workersfor their children s services in various locations inKENT.Our client is a proud family-owned provider of care and education for young people and have successful grown their services in the Kent area.


Support Workers will need to encourage and motivate children, young people and young adults to develop life skills, and participate in a range of leisure activities, educational interests and social opportunities. Which offer positive challenges within a safe and structured environment. Within a year you could progress to a Team Leader position and have gained your NVQ Level 3 paid for by the company.


Experience

At least 1 to 2 years experience in Residential Childcare

Requirements

Qualifications & Knowledge:

QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care children and young people or equivalent within 2 years of confirmation of employment

Working knowledge of caring for vulnerable children in a residential setting

Knowledge of equal opportunities & diversity

Knowledge of The Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 & Guide to

the Children s Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards
