Who we need:

We are looking foranenthusiastic new team member with a passionfor learning and developmentand mentoringour studentsto completetheirqualifications and develop their skills. Our objective is to ensure that students studying with us will receive an excellent learning experiencewhich willbeachieved byproviding aconsistentacademic and experienced support, and ajustified and timely assessmentmarkingfeedback.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of our tutors is to provide an academic and experienced support to our students studying to help and enable them to succeed. It will beexpectedfor them tocoordinate, assess, and review our students learning activities. It is expected that our tutors will provide an effective, varied, and frequent interactions when necessary to ensure that our students will achieve their maximum potential throughout the course.

Working remotely (with some attendance required for training for certain aspects of the assessment process - although this is currently being undertaken online)

• Ensure that the students are achieving the required standard of academic success
  
• Monitor the academic performance of an assigned student/s throughout their study
  
• Monitor student s progress over the duration of their study
  
• Deliver high quality feedback in a timely and consistent fashion when the assigned student/s submit their workbooks / unit content plan for their assignments
  
• Understand content of each module to be able to give effective feedback and suggestions.
  

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• CIPD Chartered Member or equivalent
  
• Understanding of CIPD qualification structure
  
• Relevant HR sector skill knowledgeor experience
  
• Relevant teaching, coaching or mentoring experience
  
• The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative
  
• Student-centric
  
• A can-do positive approach to workload management with the ability to proactively prioritise accordingly
  
• A person who is happy to take ownership and embraces accountability
  
• The ability to provide constructive feedback
  
• Excellent written communication skills
  
• Excellent computer/IT skills
  
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  
• Experience ofgivingstudent assessmentsmarkings / feedbacks
