Mission Translate is a global language and insight agency headquartered in Birmingham, looking for a full time BDM to join the team, with hybrid or remote working.

Business Development Manager will create new sales opportunities and help drive growth within the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments with the emphasis on high quality leads
  • Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients
  • Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
  • Proactively follow up leads generated from our business contact data generation activity
  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database
  • Arrange and attend business meetings with prospective customers.

Skills Required:

  • Computer literate/keyboard skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor s degree
  • Minimum 2-years proven experience in B2B sales within the Translation and Localisation industry.

Benefits:

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum + OTE and other benefits
