Job Overview:We are looking for a driven and experienced senior communicator to join our Internal Communications team on a 9 -12 month fixed-term contract parental leave cover. You will report to the VP of Internal Communications and Community, and will work as part of a team based in the UK and the US. This is a brilliant role in a technology company at an exciting point in its growth journey, where you will have to think both big picture and tactically. Responsibilities:In this role you will lead, develop, implement, and measure internal communications programs, with a focus on building community amongst our global workforce. You will also be responsible for reviewing our channel efficiency and effectiveness, and how we measure success. Collaborating with senior leaders, you will embed change and ensure messaging is targeted in the right way, at the right time. You will also work as part of a team where everyone contributes to our success.
Required Skills and Experience:- A highly skilled writer, editor, and communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.- A great teammate who is able to develop relationships at all levels across global locations.- Extensive and in-depth experience of crafting, running, and delivering internal communications strategies, campaigns, events, projects and change programmes in a global organisation.- Strong experience in measuring the impact of communication programmes.- Proven experience of using technology to improve and measure existing and new communication opportunities, including channel innovation and development.- Influencing and relationship management skills across multiple collaborators with proven track record of advising the business on communications and engagement opportunities as well as influencing senior leaders.- Ability to operate dynamically in a fast-paced environment and run and prioritise multiple programmes of work, ensuring good governance.- A self-starter, highly organised and motivated individual, you will work autonomously to deliver in ambiguous situations.- Knowledge and experience of innovating and improving internal communications based on industry trends and standard methodology.Nice To Have Skills and Experience:- Experience of working in the technology industry.
