This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Chief Engineer for our Games Visual Effects client on a permanent basis to work from home paying between £80,000 to £90,000 + Great benefits depending on experience.

This is an exciting role which has been newly created and will sit within the Leadership Team.

Requirements

The successful Chief Engineer will possess proven skills working with the following -

- ACES Colour workflow - delivering 4k / HD / UHD Episodic projects
- 3D Exchange Formats
- Artist Content Creation tools
- Motion capture - Xsens,
- prototyping and building large environments, synchronized visual effects, and particle systems.
- experience in the TV, Film and/or Games Visual Effects Industry
- experience managing and leading technology teams within a VFX environment
- developing and leading the VFX Rendering and Pipeline process
- Maya, V Ray, Karma, Renderman, Houdini, Nuke

The following is desired -

- 3DS Max, Unreal, Shotgrid
- Python and C++.
- Mel, Maya
- AI & Machine Learning for tooling and artistic purposes.
