The Finance Team includes Finance Business Partnership, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

Were looking for a Manager, International Accounting to join the Finance Team!

What youll do:

Own and manage the yearly compliance/statutory reporting and audit process for multiple international entities including coordination of deliverables with 3rd party accountants, auditors, tax and legal

Maintain the relationship with external auditors and 3rd party accountants in support of statutory financials

Prepare and present financial information to different audiences, including finance leaders, business partners, auditors.

Improve and maintain a process to manage the timely and accurate preparation of all external financial reports, ensuring financial statements are in accordance with local GAAP guidelines

Discover efficiencies in the processes through elimination and automation

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP reporting standards, including an understanding of GAAP to stat differences and the review of financial statements

Stay up to date on changes and activities within the company and industry to ensure the companys financial statements properly reflect any new developments

Ad hoc reporting or technical accounting assistance on transactions

Seek opportunities for process improvement, provide leadership, and direct the team to scale and be more efficient through automation and simplification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong understanding of international financial reporting process and ability to navigate complex accounting items

Strong technical accounting knowledge with an understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102

Exceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.

Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization

A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Extreme attention to detail with a high sense of urgency

Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Phenomenal at business partnering and working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Accounting or Finance

6+ years of accounting experience

Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications:

Big 4 audit experience and industry experience

Experience with Oracle, Blackline, Workiva, Active Disclosure, Hyperion

Experience as a manager who coaches and leads effectively to develop a strong culture to deliver outcomes with excellence for direct reports.
