Moon Magic is a 100% online-based jewelry boutique, bringing authentic gemstone jewelry to customers around the world.

This is full-time role for an experienced, talented Jewelry & Accessories Designer with expertise in the entire development process.

You will be responsible for developing new concepts and ideas for collections that will enhance the Moon Magic brand by carrying out creative research, trend forecasting, sketching, development, and creating tech packs.

Tasks

• Research and identify trend directions, materials, techniques and competitions
• Create inspiration boards and participate in monthly trend overviews
• Create new designs concepts and collections in keeping with Moon Magic Jewelries brand image to present to the Creative Director
• Create technical drawings and CAD files (Rhino 3D) of own designs

Requirements

• 3+ years jewelry experience in fine jewelry required
• Design Degree required, jewelry and metalsmith focus preferred
• Design experience with moonstones & opals
• Excellent hand sketching skills
• Ability to create CAD files using Rhino 3D
• Ability to interpret and re-imagine collections in order to take the brand to the next level
• Flexible and agile
