TPF Recruitment Surreys leading accountancy practice recruitment agency are hiring a Tax Accountant for the following firm.

Company Overview:

A progressive and forwardthinking independent accountancy practice is seeking a motivated Part Qualified or Qualified Tax Accountant to join their team. This firm is dedicated to modernisation and transformation providing an exciting opportunity for growth and professional development.

Position Overview:

As a Tax Accountant you will play a key role in supporting the firms modernisation efforts by delivering highquality tax services to clients and contributing to process improvements within the tax department.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals partnerships corporations and trusts ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimising tax liabilities.
  • Conduct research on tax issues and developments and effectively communicate findings to clients and colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations and communicate implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other members of the tax team and crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency.
  • Support the firms modernisation and transformation initiatives by embracing new technologies tools and methodologies to streamline tax processes.


Requirements

  • studying towards your ATT / CTA is preferred but ACA/ACCA considered if youre working in a tax capacity
  • solid understanding of tax principles regulations and compliance requirements.
  • previous experience in tax compliance and advisory within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
  • excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • commitment to professional development and staying current with tax laws and industry trends.
