Salary: 43,000

Responsibilities of Home Manager:

• Responsible for the care of staff, residents and effectively communicating with Head
  
• Dedicated to improving the running of the home and maintaining or improving CQC
  
• Monitor all duty rotas (along with deputy) and the internal rotation of staff ensuring that they are managed within the allocated manpower and skill
  
• Responsible for the coordination of effective liaison with the Multi-Disciplinary Team regarding reviews, referrals, and assessments of residents and the planning of admissions
  
• Being aware of policies, regulations, and legislation as well as standards expected by the CQC and monitoring services provided to the Home and addressing any
  

The perfect Home Manager

• At least a year experience as a home manager or 3 years as a deputy
  
• NMC pin desired but by no means essential
  
• Experience in elderly and dementia care
  
• NVQ 5 in health and social care (desirable but not essential)
