TPF Recruitment is representing an excellent Top 30 Sandwich based firm of chartered accountants who are searching for an Accounts Senior to join them on a part time basis as a key addition to their successful team. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands on role reviewing and delivering accounts, management accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients.

Our client has been experiencing very positive growth by organic means, having generated an excellent reputation and standing across Kent, the South-East region, and further afield. They offer one of the most flexible working patterns available in the market and this would be perfect for somebody who is looking to work part time, or benefit from flexible and hybrid working.
  • Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, OMB s, listed companies and NFP s.
  • Preparation of accounts for UK companies under UK GAAP, FRS 1025 and FRS102/a.
  • Preparation of management accounts for review.
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and knowledge of personal tax.
  • Liaising directly with clients on various matters.
  • Assisting with training of junior members of staff and overseeing their responsibilities.


Requirements

  • You will need to have a strong background in an accountancy practice environment to succeed in this role, and you may have completed or be undertaking AAT, ACA or ACCA studies, which will be fully supported by our client.
