A highly successful, dynamic, UK leading chartered accountancy firm of auditors, accountants and business advisors is looking to hire an Accounts Manager to support their growing office in Redhill. Our client is well-established, both nationally and internationally, who thrive on their continued growth and development and the success of their clients, which are mainly from the Technology, Real Estate and Non-Profit sectors.
As an Accounts Manager joining their Redhill offices, you will report directly to the partners and will manage a significant and growing client portfolio where you will be expected to support the firms values and behave in an efficient and professional manner. In this role, you will be given lots of autonomy and be trusted to manage projects fully with minimal Partner input.
As a Manager you will be responsible for the development of peers and more junior colleagues on a day to day basis, both technically and professionally. This role offers a wide range of responsibilities, with 30% of the role being accounts work, 10% being advisory work while also withstanding great client facing communication and training/mentoring other members of staff.
Some of the responsibilities will be as follows;
- Overseeing the whole audit process of our clients, including audit planning, client liaison, oversight, review and completion.
- Ensuring that for each client all compliance deadlines are met (Companies House and HMRC), and the job is finalised to minimise partner review time.
- Supporting and advising clients on any queries.
- Managing and supporting the training of mentoring of staff.

Requirements
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
- Experience of mentoring and developing more junior team members.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
