pOCU currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project CoOrdinator to join our officebased team in Reading The role is within our Power division working on our SSEN New Connections framework The purpose of this role is to work alongside our Electrical Project Managers to coordinate electrical distribution projects for operational delivery scheduling resource liaising with local authorities customers and client updating work management systems and submitting all required applications to ensure projects are delivered right first time meeting the required programme datesppResponsibilitiespul liTaking ownership of job from receipt to completionli liContacting and updating customer and client throughout job progressionli liManagement of job portfolio providing weekly update to Planning Managerli liAccurately updating all work management systems and trackers (Depotnet Smart Sheet Schedule) progressing jobs through each stage of constructionli liPlanning work to requested dates ul liProgramming required work elementsli liUtilising available resource li liAccurately detailing work element on scheduleli liCorrectly assigning required craftsmen li liDealing with affected stakeholders li liLiaising with authoritiesli liNotifying all necessary parties to ensure work can be carried outli liNotifying Street Works CoOrdinating department of required street works applications to raiseli liRaising necessary Planned Supply Interruptions in line with network requirements (utilising information supplied by engineers)li liOrganise carding packs as required so that the Access Officer can accurately deliver outage notification lettersli liProducing jeopardy reports age profiling outstanding jobs managing timely job completionli liCarry out any other duties appropriate for the roleli ul li ulpSkills & Experiencepul liExperience in a Project CoOrdinator role em(with a utilities background)em li liKnowledge and understand of Street Works and permitting requirementsli liExperience dealing with general public customers and clientsli liExcellent verbal and written communication skillsli liExcellent time management organisation skills and able to work to deadlines li liProficient in the use of all Microsoft Office (Word Excel Power Point and Outlook)li liExperience within a busy office environmentli liAbility to prioritise own workload and manage expectationsli liAttention to detailli liExperience either working directly for a Distribution Network Operator or for a subcontractorframework partner working on the electrical distribution networkli liExperience using SSENs EO Web online mapping system (desirable)li ulpstrongCompany InformationstrongppEstablished in OCU Group is one of the fastest growing utility engineering contractors in the UK with a long successful track record in delivering customerfocused civil engineering solutionsppWorking directly with many of the countrys leading bluechip power water telecoms and rail clients we are looking for the very best talent to join our growing teamppWe pride ourselves on empowering our employees and offering opportunities for them to take control of their own personal development and career progression in a supportive environmentppWe believe that being successful is a choiceppWe choose to be successfulppWe are OCU One Company UnitedppstrongWe celebrate difference and appreciate diverse backgrounds We encourage everyone who join us to be themselves at work and create inclusive teams in our workplacestrongp
