Working hours: 35 hours per week

This is a role designed to serve a pioneering expression of The Salvation Army in a digital community as part of a ministry team. The ministry team will actively create and develop a Christian community to build and develop positive relationships and support exploration of Christian faith and discipleship. This role requires a sense of vision purpose and a creative approach to a new expression of The Salvation Army.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing creative online worship and Christian discipleship content to help people explore their spiritual journey in creative and relevant ways
  • Developing high quality digital content to communicate the Christian message and build the faith community by establishing creative partnerships and new ways of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Identifying target audiences and influencers to cultivate online engagement and social media networks

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Knowledge and experience of using a wide variety of social media channels
  • Experience in creating and producing engaging crossplatform content

This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of and supportive of the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
