Highlights of the role
Youll be responsible for managing a small team, dealing with all internal and external comms - including PR, social media, campaigns etc. The role is more focused on Internal Comms, as youll be ensuring that all of your colleagues are kept abreast of all company news, projects, goals, strategies and initiatives.
Youll be building relationships across the business to drive engagement, and will ensure that all communications are aligned to the company tone, brand and values. Working closely with HR to develop a project plan for engagement and being instrumental in rolling this out across the business. Seeking out content from the business in order to produce communications to raise awareness of the business services.
Responsible for writing and distributing the weekly e-newsletter and other communications as requested by colleagues. Updating the intranet. Leading on, and getting involved with projects.
Requirements
What experience youll need:
- Previous experience working within a marketing/communications department
- Strong written communication skills
- Good experience in a copywriting/marketing environment
- Creative, with the ability to produce visually appealing and interesting communications
- Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required
- Knowledge of internal communications channels, software, tools and applications
- Demonstrate and show understanding of the importance of internal communications and engagement in a corporate business
