Our client known for its exceptional service and commitment to building strong client relationships is currently seeking a skilled individual to join their Personal Tax team in a pivotal role.


As a leading firm within the industry our client is dedicated to fostering partnerships with a diverse range of clients from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. Together they navigate the dynamic landscape of the business world identifying opportunities and shaping a prosperous future.


As part of the personal tax team the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the work of junior team members. Reporting to the Tax Directors & Partners the role involves managing and optimizing the performance of the personal tax department.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios ensuring their needs are met and maximizing revenue.
  • Oversee the production and review of personal tax returns for both own portfolio and junior members.
  • Actively participate in tax advisory work relevant to skill level.
  • Plan monitor and review ad hoc tasks to ensure timely completion within set budgets.
  • Conduct consultancy work and attend client meetings as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and research as necessary.
  • Allocate and review tasks ensuring appropriate training for trainees.
  • Maintain uptodate tax technical knowledge through continuous professional development.



Requirements

  • CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified with consideration for QBE candidates.
  • Minimum 2 years PQE.
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients within a firm of Chartered Accountants.
  • Proficient in IT (Excel Word tax software) and possess strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated supervisory organizational and clientfocused abilities.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to the firms values.

ACCA / ACA / ATT or CTA qualified. Previous experience in personal tax compliance and planning is advantageous. Solid experience working within an accountancy practice. Ideally, 5+ years of experience in Personal Tax. Excellent communication skills.
