Position: Digital Planning Manager

Location: London, Full Service Media Agency

Salary: 38k per annum

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the planning team across 4 of our most exciting growth accounts. All of these clients have interesting challenges, encompass both brand and performance planning and opportunities to really drive their businesses forward. Team structures will vary slightly by account but you will be managed by a client lead as well as a digital account director and have direct reports and other team members to mentor and develop. You will be joining a large planning team, which oversees a portfolio of 20 clients. You will be working closely with your media specialist peers to help shape and continually improve our planning and buying output. The ideal person for this role will fit with the Company culture. They will be positive, participative, self-confident, entrepreneurial and enjoy fast-paced accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Client Servicing:

Becoming a partner to your clients
Be an expert in their industry
Ensuring we are delivering best in class planning on their campaigns
All of these brands have a digital performance component with dynamic optimisations and important business targets so we re looking for someone who is responsive and has excellent attention to detail .

Strategy and Planning Servicing:
Well versed in taking briefs from, and presenting back to clients
Managing your own and your team s time and expectations
You will be able to recommend and set appropriate KPIs
You should be able to demonstrate an ability to consider all channels in the digital landscape recommending & forecasting how they work together.
Retail experience desirable

Campaign Management and Performance:
With the support of your client lead you ll brief, lead and manage the channel specialists ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high standard and that it is aligned to the client s business challenge
Ensure the reporting schedule is set out and adhered to throughout the campaign life cycle
Ensure your team & specialists are focused on delivering against target KPIs
Lead status calls, PCA s and own sections of response to brief meetings

Team:
We run a very collaborative team but are looking for a very capable manager that is excited about joining a busy team. You will have direct reports as well as other execs within the team to support and develop

About the Candidate

Desired Skills & Experience:
We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who has a circa 3 years experience in a media role, preferably at an agency currently operating at AM level
You will have a solid understanding of all digital media channels and how they work together: Social, OLV, PPC, Display
Familiarity with the programmatic landscape and latest channel, tech & data opportunities
Be thorough and accurate in reviewing and delivery of work
Attention to detail is a key requirement
Knowledge and experience is required for the following systems: DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, Telmar, Brand Index and TGi
