So what s the mission of the Assistant Branch Merchandiser?
"Planning for our product range to create customer centric offers across our retail network, as well as managing stock levels in stores to maximise sales opportunities and ensure a great customer experience"
Main responsibilities:
- Store grading, profiling, and range curation
- Manage the creation of new store stock packages & proactively control stock levels after opening
- Use our systems to manage stock levels of all existing stores, identifying and acting on all stock opportunities
- Monitor sales on best sellers & influence stock levels within stores to maintain & potentialise sales
- Manage initial store allocations of new collections ensuring the correct stock levels are at stores at the right time
- Analytics and insights to drive performance
- Close collaboration with other teams within the business such as: Retail managers to ensure an excellent understanding of current trading issues
- Production teams working on allocations based on stock coming into the business Logistics teams to organise stock from the warehouse getting to stores
- Effective stock management will rely on a good understanding and ability to work with systems
What does success look like in this role?
- Achieving great stock availability to ensure great customer experience
- Maintaining effective and accurate stock holding in store
- Being recognised as a proactive team player and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
What would you like from me?
- Ideally 2-3 years experience within an inventory management or branch merchandising function
- Advanced excel skills required
- Previous experience in inventory management software
