JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Project Management and Support
- Manage Hyperion IT project delivery of varying size and complexity into the business (Onshore). Help remove roadblocks, increase overall team velocity, and
speed up milestone deliverables. Lead the project planning and
scheduling of new technology initiatives and the implementation of
such initiatives in production. - Accountable for delivery of all Hyperion enhancement work packages meeting
expectations and in delivery of clear business benefits. - Ensure adequate and timely communications to all area stakeholders on project
and operational information that will impact IT services provided. - Work closely with the ISIT Leadership and ISIT PMO to deliver projects into
the area. - Support the process development and transition from project to operations to
ensure a smooth and successful transition. - Conduct project implementation debrief to capture lessons learned and
understand benefits realized as a result.
IT Operations and Support
- Accountable for effective leadership of the Hyperion IT Transformation team
including direct management of onshore and offshore staff and matrix management of up to 20 resources through partner organisations. - Accountable for governance and scheduling of the Hyperion support and development team and the allocation of prioritised work to these resources.
- Responsible for Technology Leadership and competency development of the Hyperion IT team.
- Document and improve standard operating procedures to reduce risk, improve
availability and efficiency. Implement and execute proactive maintenance, monitoring, and support processes to provide a stable and
reliable IT platform in the area where applicable. - Work closely with other business units and stakeholders to address all
business and customer needs and to meet or exceed SLA commitments as
well as end-user requirements - Point of contact for Issues and escalation management in the area. Support
and manage the Hyperion environments and issues related to this. - Ensure proper follow up of incidents, root cause analysis and as well as
planning and implementing permanent fixes. - Work in close collaboration with Company s IT Service Partner on matters
relating to daily IT operations and support for both our operations. - Manage various service providers operationally to define support roadmaps and
to maintain / develop solutions used for Group Reporting (Finance).This includes managing SLA s and product lifecycles with vendors. - Ensure infrastructure availability meets committed service levels; minimize
the impact of incidents by ensuring appropriate support response times - Ensure the IT Disaster Recovery Planning supports and complements the
Business Continuity requirements; regularly plan and execute Disaster Recovery exercises making sure gaps are tracked and addressed in a
timely fashion. - Responsible for managing Sox audit requirements for Hyperion solutions, working
closely with internal and external audit teams to provide assurances of ITGC and financial controls
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- A minimum of an Under-graduate degree with a technical discipline is required. Relevant experience performing role within the Oil and Gas industry may be
considered in lieu of this requirement. - Detailed working knowledge of one or more of the following systems: Oracle
Financial systems, IBM Maximo solution, Biztalk integration tools. - Strong experience and evidence of implementing and managing Oracle Hyperion technology to achieve significant improvements in business efficiency, risk
reduction or productivity. - Experience of business relationship management within an outsourced environment.
- Able to assess and contribute to the recruitment of required resources to compliment the Hyperion IT Transformation team
- Must be results orientated with ability to achieve aggressive goals and have the
ability to effectively work cross-functionally with and through
business, IS managers and outsource partners. - Able to represent the IS organisation as part of the broader team.
- Expert Business Analysis and Consulting skills.

- Excellent Management,communications, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Able to demonstrate and present solutions and Oracle Hyperion strategic direction to Senior stakeholders within the organisation and with Peers in the wider business community.
Desired
- Experience of Automated Testing tools
- Experience of business reference models, the design and implementation of business processes.
- Experience of budgetary management systems and processes specific to the offshore drilling industry.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 5 years of extensive experience in all aspects of IT
operations and management plus general knowledge of software
development, and complex systems integration using various technologies.
Preferred
- ITIL working knowledge is extremely beneficial for this role (Foundations Certification a
plus). - Strong and proven project management skills. PRINCE2, PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
