Sitting within the Business Development and Marketing department and reporting to the Head of Communications, you will help us meet the firm s wider growth objectives through the successful delivery of a number of

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business Development and Marketing team with the creation of integrated marketing campaign plans, advising on appropriate tactics for social media and other external channels
  • Drive the delivery of campaign activity through the effective management of internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development and Marketing team members and our Digital agency
  • Chair regular campaign meetings and record/report on campaign progress, suggesting recommendations for improvement
  • Support the Digital and Events team on the delivery of external marketing communications, eg eshots and newsletters via copywriting, sense-checking and proofreading
  • Manage the external communications calendar and ensure that content and communications plans are created for events, sponsorships, awards and so on
  • Work with other colleagues to generate content for external communications channels, such as blogs, articles, videos etc
  • Oversee all social media activity and manage the Social Media and Communications Executive
  • Work closely with other Comms team members, namely the PR Manager and Internal Communications Manager to ensure content is repurposed across all appropriate channels
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all external content produced by our client is on-message and adheres to our guidelines
  • Other general tasks such as assisting the team with drafting communications eg press releases and proofreading as and when required

What we are looking for

Essential:

  • Experience in managing an organisation s social media channels
  • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, such as PPC and paid social media marketing
  • Previous experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns
  • Understanding of the marketing mix and the role of different tactics and channels in a campaign
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce succinct reports for project teams
  • Ability and confidence to effectively manage various stakeholders at different levels, including external agencies
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to work to hard deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills and experience

Desirable:

  • Line manager experience
  • CIM qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in professional services
