This is an incredible opportunity to join the exciting and dynamic team located within our Head Office in London. Your main responsibility will be to regenerate lapsed affiliates and develop new UK affiliate opportunities. The position will provide you with exposure to international business development and access fantastic career development opportunities whilst realising your remuneration goals.
About the role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new partners who refer their clients and generate profit from their currency transfers. Your time will also be spent contacting lapsed partners and generating new partnership opportunities via proactive sales methods.
Currencies Direct has established one of the largest and most effective network of affiliate partners globally. Working directly with business owners and sales teams to generate referrals for Currencies Direct. You will be tasked with identifying, engaging and managing new partnership opportunities using a collaborative approach. Your target audience will be businesses and individuals who can refer private clients with FX exposure.
The Currencies Direct UK Partnerships team has an excellent suite of products and services for private clients living or moving globally. Currencies Direct has invested heavily in regulatory compliance, technology and combined this with online and offline brand development. This has enhanced the perception of the business both with customers directly and partners.
Requirements
About you
You are an ambitious sales professional who is motivated by success and keen to further develop your business development skills, whilst getting exposure to the UK market place. You have demonstrable experience in performance in financial service related sales or managing affiliate partnerships that create revenue. That said you do not need Industry experience.
Well-connected and driven by businesses interactions, you will be naturally effective at building relationships and creating influence over the phone, face to face, through networking, social media and attendance at events when required.

Key competencies
Have demonstrable, track record in selling a service.
Open on background. Whilst financial service and partnership sales experience are valuable, key to success will be an ability to drive influence with stakeholders at every level of a business and across multiple industries
Resourceful, articulate and action orientated and able to deliver business results through affiliate channels.
Demonstrable record of business development success.
Knowledge and experience of Face to Face field sales. A documented proven track record in hitting KPI s & sales targets.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Salesforce)
