Recruitment Consultant, office-based, Burscough. Up to 23,000 basic plus bonus
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Recruitment Consultant. You may have worked in recruitment before, internal or consultancy. You may have supported a recruitment team or something else. We are open-minded.
We are a team who works together, has group and individual objectives, and enjoy working in a rural town and learning on the job and through external sources.
For someone who has energy and passion and is looking to work in a quirky building, our lovely town has coffee shops, sandwich shops, bars and everything else you have in a city. We are surrounded by rural farmland in our 'Shedquarters' The ideal candidate will be working in a recruiter role at present; we have targets and morning meetings and enjoy contributing to the team goals. We will consider all disciplines to develop our offering for clients and candidates. We have a small footprint but reach far and wide with exciting clients in the UK, Europe and Australia. We have no pre-requisite for education; we want a good attitude, someone to make a difference for candidates and clients and work hard whilst having fun. Recruitment Consultant
The field of recruitment is highly competitive and fast-paced. The pressures on recruiters are increasing daily due to a decline in candidate availability and the uncertainty caused by unpredictable job markets.
As the trends in recruitment shift from traditional practices of posting adverts on job sites towards establishing a robust social media presence and personal network, the role of a recruitment consultant has become more critical than ever.
To be a good Recruiter, you must:
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have good organisational and administrative skills
- Have good IT skills
- Be curious, and resilient and not give up or accept 2nd best
- Place candidates in the proper role with the right client, not just make a placement
