Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Audit RI (Responsible Individual) to join their team in a senior position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on the role of Audit Manager Senior Manager Associate or even Partner depending on their experience and qualifications. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute to the firms continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage audit engagements from planning to completion ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and deadlines.
- Lead and mentor audit teams providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Review financial statements and audit reports ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry trends providing insights and recommendations to clients and colleagues.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with RI status.
- Extensive experience in audit and assurance services within a reputable accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams and driving results.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
