Trilogic Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a renowned Sports Media Company based in Bath. If you are a maths/statistics/engineering graduate (or equivalent) who is looking to start their career in Data Analytics, then we have the perfect opportunity to start your journey.

As Data Analyst, you will workin a multidisciplinary team of6, reporting into the Head of Insight. Day to day, you will be analysing data from all areas of the business, including the their widely known App, eCommerce stores, and YouTube channels, to assist the Head of Insight making strategic decisions for the business.

The Role:

  • Finding out what makes our audience tick, and reporting on that to the Insights team.
  • Analysing data on who, what, when, and where our viewers are watching.
  • Creating data models to provide new insights.
  • Providing up-to-date information to teams across the business.


Requirements


  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate information.
  • Working knowledge of Python, R, Matlab.
  • Ability to write performant queries to get to the data you want from SQL databases.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio/Tableau/Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ideally, you ll have a maths/statistics/engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with BigQuery, Google Analytics, No-SQL databases would be preferred, but is not essential.
