27,000 + bonus


We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager for our family run nursing home in Ware.We deliver the perfect blend of first-class care within a comfortable living environment. We provide specialist nursing care services, as well as residential, palliative and respite care, all of which can be enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings of the Nursing Home.


Job Summary

To support the Management across all aspects of Home Management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for people who live here and their visitors.

To instruct staff and ensure all activities are carried out. Interact with the people who live here.

Comply with all CQC and local authorities

To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are carried out.

Display excellent interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities and work systems to staff.

Demonstrate proven organisational and planning skills to ensure continuity of care.

Demonstrate motivational leadership skills and promotion of high standards of care.

Able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.



Requirements

Do you have?

  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and other legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • A caring and friendly nature.
  • The ability to work well within a team and under pressure
  • Proactive attitude
  • Worked in a similar position (preferred)
  • L3 qualification (preferred)
