What does a Talent Development Executive (L&D Coordinator) at Collinson do?
The Talent Executive will work within the Collinson People & Culture team, providing delivery, support and administration expertise to help us develop and implement efficient and engaging Talent Development programmes that play a key role in supporting how we identify, develop and retain talent
Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:
IDENTIFY
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external training suppliers, maintaining a PSL
- Carrying out research as directed into training providers or other information
- Assist workshop facilitators and carry out research supporting the design of TD intervention
- Become the go-to person for inbound Talent Development inquiries and direct them within the Talent team as required
- Liaise with P&C global Business Partners to support area with training and development needs analysis
- Liaise with People Managers and teams to ensure all staff are booked on required events within agreed
- Assist with the performance development scheme process; ensuring documentation is returned and logged in line with the procedural timelines and reports produced, working with the other members of the P&C team as necessary
DESIGN
- You will create, upload, and manage the delivery of e-learning material to the LMS
- You will create comms and post regularly on different forums to drive Talent Development agenda
- Support the TD team with specialised projects and learning design when appropriate and if required
DELIVERY
- You will also provide Learning & Development (L&D) delivery in soft skills & some technical workshops for employees and managers globally
- Deliver our core TD workshops (Agility Gym), providing coaching and
- Co-ordinate the development and delivery of the organisation-wide regular induction events for all new employees, ensuring the content is reviewed and updated continually in line with feedback received
EVALUATION
- Take the lead with the management of the LMS system LearningHub (Cornerstone) and manage the creation, coordination, and reporting of training events via LearningHub
- Monitor and evaluate learning and organisation development activities, producing accurate and up- to-date data analysis
- Establish systems to record and produce regular reports on learning and development metrics, including spend, to agreed timescales
- Support business areas and P&C Business Partners in reviewing talent development outputs
- Maintain appropriate records of learner development for all talent development initiatives
LMS
You will create, upload, and manage the delivery of e-learning material to the LMS
- Take the lead with the management of the LMS system LearningHub (Cornerstone)
- Take responsibility for driving the usage, uptake, and champion of online learning globally, collaborating with P&C Business Partners
- You will support our People & Culture team by designing, delivering, and maintaining a professional electronic learning function for the Talent Development (TD) team
APPRENTICESHIPS
- You will liaise with apprentices & their People Managers regularly to check on applications, well-being, progress and course completion
SUPPORT
Management of the Talent Development email inquiry inboxes
- Management of the TD Calendar, including scheduling of workshops, administration of invites, evaluation and pre & post-course
- Raising purchasing requisition orders and tracking of payment on behalf of the people services
- Attending meetings, taking notes and progressing actions as required
- Establish systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the TD offering
How will you add value?
- Applicants must have a good level of commercial experience ideally gained working in an HR, L&D or People Development function within a global enterprise
- A natural and creative flair for designing material for workshops, presentations, and events
- Deep knowledge of developing and implementing new processes and coordinating events
- Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate evidence of sound customer service skills, blended with a highly organised approach and a natural passion for relationship building
- Comfortable delivering presentation material in an engaging way targeting stakeholders at all levels on a global business scale
- Capable of cultivating strong positive energy and proactively prioritising tasks working at pace both independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers
- Practical experience running MI Reports and metrics to tell a story and analysing data
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (focus on Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Experience in using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Articulate, Prezi, or Videoscribe is highly desired
- This role will offer a blend of remote working with regular travel into the London office
