This is a remote position.

SPG Resourcing has partnered high-growth financial services organisation to support them with hiring a Solution Architect due to an internal promotion.


Reporting in the Architecture Manager you ll be working across a number of key programmes of work as part of a large-scale transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to overall architectural support for the major projects whilst acting as architectural lead for a range of projects
  • Contribute to overall architectural support and solution for the Business Units whilst taking design lead responsibility for one or more projects
  • Corporate: Back-office functions, Banking, Marketing & Distribution
  • Contribute to the development, publishing and promotion of architectural policies and standards
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with IT Strategy, policies and standards across all projects.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and publishing of application roadmaps for critical and core applications





Requirements

  • Financial services systems
  • High-level Integration Architecture API, WebServices and Integration best practise.
  • High-level cloud service experience - AWS or Azure.
  • Traditional Infrastructure Servers, Storage, Wintel, HP-UX, 3PAR, Nimble, Cisco Network and Telephony.
  • Security infrastructure and best practise
  • Databases SQL, Cache, Oracle
  • Cloud Productivity: O365 (Office, SharePoint, Dynamics
  • TOGAF certified or equivalent experience
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Confident at managing relationships and communicating at all levels
  • Delivery oriented and ability to work under pressure in a complex business environment
  • Highly developed business analytical skills specifically aimed at the generation of complete and consistent business requirements and business cases for IT Change, in collaboration with SME s
  • High levels of initiative, professionalism, independence and resilience
  • Proven record of producing quality technical requirements, design and test documentation
  • Excellent experience of IT management processes across operational, change and delivery
