First Call Contract Services are looking to recruit an electrical Shift Engineer for our clients busy production facility based in Eye, IP23.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis and immediate interviews are available.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor this role will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used on site is run to maximum efficiency.
Candidate duties will include:
·The total preventative maintenance and breakdown of all electrical machines on site
·Time management and reporting of machine checks
·Reactive and proactive maintenance
·Adopt multi skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
Candidate experience will include:
·Hold a full, nationally recognised Engineering qualification
·Have extensive plant level experience, ideally gained within a food production environment
·Have excellent organisational skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills
·Have worked as part of an engineering shift delivering effective, time sensitive, repairs including prioritisation including weekend PPM and contractor control
·Have knowledge of the relevant legislative bodies and instruments
·Have comprehensive knowledge of plant and machinery manufacturers
·Have strong proficiency in Microsoft packages and other engineering specific programs
·Have an experience of working with control circuits, star / delta and safety circuit relays
Starting salary:
£43kpa + Company Benefits (Weekly Paid)
Overtime paid at time and a half on all normal hours and double time on Sundays (Over 42 hours per week)
Hours of work:
Week 1. Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8.00am to 8.00pm
Week 2. Wednesday, Thursday, 8.00am to 8.00pm
Week 3. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11.30pm to 8.00am
