The salary ranges from 23100 to 31100 depending on how much overtime oncall and training you would like to take part in. You would also get a company van with a fuel card to drive to and from work with and all your PPE would be paid for you. There are 20 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays plus many more benefits.

Your responsibilities
As a Traffic Light Operative (TLO) your main role will be installing repairing and removing temporary traffic lights. In this role you would also have to exchange batteries which requires a lot of physical work as each battery weighs 23kg and you could be required to change around 40 a day depending on what area you are working on.
About You
For this job you must have good organisational skills as you work towards deadlines and they need to be met at a fast and everchanging pace. In addition you must be adaptable as the job involves traveling to places across your area and further afield with possible overnight stays to meet business needs. Overtime and rotational oncall cover are involved with the position.
Experience and qualifications
- A full UK driving license is essential (B&E would be an advantage) as you will have a small company van/truck to enable you to do your work this can be taken home at night and therefore a safe place to park is essential.
- A previous role in maintaining or operating temporary traffic systems would also be an advantage but not essential as we can train you.
- A previous electrical background would also be beneficial. However full training is provided.
- The training is split into five levels and is linked to pay
