Assistant Project Manager
Salary 25,000 to 28,000

We re working with a company that helps deliver Architectural and Construction projects from Design, Programme Management and Construction Services within the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare and Housing sectors to name a few, they have worked with the likes of McDonalds, BP, Starbucks and many more.
Due to growth they re now looking to expand the PM team, the role will be a consultant delivery Assistant PM position. You will be involved in projects from inception to completion and be required to manage the process utilising specialist in-house and external consultant teams. The core area of projects will be based in roadside retail, including works to fuel filling stations, whether these be existing or new to industry sites.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Assist and direct/coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget
- Proactively communicate project related issues directly with all stakeholders
- Examines construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Reviews tender results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager and the wider team
- Involved in the confirmation and verification of regulation requirements
- Assists the Project Manager with management and monitoring project work in the field
- Assists in the management of change orders and variations to projects
- Prepares and provides weekly status reports for projects
- Involved in the proactive identification and solving of or escalates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or quality
Experiences required
- Minimum of a degree in an accredited construction related program or equivalent
- Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email
- Driving license is essential
