Junior / Trainee Estimator Based Baldock


14.50p/h 17.00p/h Plus Overtime paid at x1.5

5D Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. Our client specialises in the manufacture of bespoke fabrications enclosures and structural steel whilst working with some of the major players within industries such Formula 1 Food Production and Medical.


As part of a strategic growth plan they have recently invested over a million pounds in capex machinery to add CNC machining into its portfolio of capabilities.


Due to an everincreasing level of enquiries from both new and existing customers we are looking to recruit a trainee/junior estimator to grow the team.




Requirements

What the role will involve:

Working alongside the account managers you will be responsible for compiling accurate costings for a wide variety of enquiries that are received.

This will involve working with different teams including production laser programmers purchasing and sales.

Client and customer facing this could be obtaining any additional information needed to estimate the role following up on a quote you ve sent over through to keeping in touch with them throughout the manufacturing process.



What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

Background in fabrication and welding.

Excellent communication skills need to be able to speak to clients and internal stakeholders.
