Paydens is a family-owned business which seeks to reward and empower its staff. Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision of many different services.

You will be part of a hard-working and established team working on the counter and the dispensary, you will be involved in developing positive relationships with patients and GP surgeries to ensure that we deliver the most effective customer service in the industry!

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support and assist all members of the pharmacy team.
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and professionally within legal and company guidelines.
  • Ensure the correct storage of the medication including effective stock rotation.
  • Monitor and check expiry dates on the medication.
  • Sort and file prescriptions and other relevant paperwork as per the company s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Maintain a clean & tidy environment.
  • Liaise with GP surgeries and their teams to enable the pharmacy to deliver the highest possible customer service.

Qualifications & Skill s:

Ideally you will hold an NVQ2 equivalent in Pharmacy Dispensing Services or have experience working in the pharmacy industry, however, if you don t and you are just starting out we not a problem as we will provide the resources you will need to develop and ensure you are given the appropriate training to carry out the job including your NVQ qualifications!

You must have basic IT knowledge and good customer service skills. You must also be able to perform well under pressure, and work as part of a team.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm-6:30pm, Saturdays on rota (To cover sickness or Holiday if needed)
