Our client is seeking an ambitious and well-connected individual to help grow their Private Client services within their York office.

The ideal candidate will be confident in working independently and will have experience in a broad range of Private Client matters including Wills, Tax and Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.

Strong people management skills and/or supervisory experience would be an advantage, with the role providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build, engage and develop a high performing team.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or FILEX (10+ years PQE, no upper limit - must be able to work independently)
  • STEP qualification would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Able to lead a broad range of Private Client work
  • Experience of dealing with high-net-worth clients and complex estates would be advantageous
  • Strong people management skills and/or supervisory experience
  • Commercially minded with business development skills to support plans for growth and to develop your own career.
  • Excellent technical, IT, client care and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • A passion to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • An effective practical approach to your workload with a good experience of handling own files from start to finish
