About us
We are looking for an enthusiastic CAD Technician to support our growth and strengthen our Design Team. You will be producing detailed technical drawings to a high degree of accuracy and provide design support to colleagues and clients ensuring the drawings provided are accurate to project success.
- You will work closely with design teams throughout the design process.
- You will be assisting in the production of all drawings and designs ensuring they are prepared and controlled in accordance with CAD quality.
- Youll maintain and ensure the drawing register is kept up to date and relevant.
- You will produce fully developed CAD drawings ready for authorising construction and installation.
- You will assist with any queries and develop understanding of CAD drawings across all departments.
- You will participate in discussions and produce aslaid drawing in line with the operation teams requirements.
Requirements
When you join you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our inhouse training academy.
- understanding and determining information from drawings standards and specifications.
- delivering to timescales working to a Weekly Programme drafted by others marking up progress achieved.
- competently using AutoCAD
- Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3 points)
- Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptops etc.
- Excellent communication including ability to adapt your communication styles and outstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent knowledge of the ICP industry (DNO/IDNO)
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to translate drawings into operational requirements
- Basic awareness of G81 documentation
- Good understanding of electrical principles
