Construction Project Manager







You will need to be experienced in commercial removals and/or office installations. This is an exciting busy role leading to future development within the company. Providing the leadership, coaching, development and support for the team enabling them to meet and surpass the standard expected.
- To be the single point of contact for the client and providing the overarching strategy and planning, this will include managing, and the ongoing justification of the business plan.
- To be actively involved in the all-round Move Management from inception and programme development to completion and delivery. Committed to preserving the integrity of the client and be the point of contact for the entire moving process, working closely with the client to ensure that any problems are dealt with efficiently and the process is tailored for the client s convenience.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of relocation teams and other components to secure efficiencies and maintain smooth running throughout the move adhering to any time and cost constraints.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver team objectives and performance
- Performance manage, coach and develop the team
- Deliver Sales and contribute to the development of the brand
- Oversee Project and Move managers and ensure projects are executed according to the project plan
- Responsible for the success of all move projects within the North region
- Provide the single point of contact to the client ensuring responsibilities for activities are clear
- Be responsible for the delivery of the project plan reporting at regular intervals to senior managers
- Establish short and long term program objectives and ensure team members meet them
- Develop funding plans to ensure the programs ongoing delivery and success
- Be accountable for full project risk and issue identification and mitigation management
- Be able to follow a standard process as defined by the Project Management Institute. These are:
2. Planning setting goals, defining roles, and producing schedules of tasks. Some tools, such as Gantt Charts can be used to create a visual project plan;

- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Work with the project teams and assist with the move management and operational resources as required for the move
- Plan the moves, including the provision, relocation, audit, and collection of equipment needed to aid the physical relocation
- Liaising with the client to assist with the planning of the move
- Reacting with ad-hoc requests, ensuring resources and equipment are allocated appropriately
- Managing relocation process on time and inception to completion, on budget, meeting challenging programmes and requirements
- Developing and deploying change control and risk management procedures
- Ensuring that relocations align with corporate and planning guidelines and processes
- Managing the overall move demand
- Driving communication plans to ensure consistent communication with all stakeholders
- Providing a robust management of relocation cost and change requests
- Attending scheduled move meetings
- You must use all resources available to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
- You must be able to demonstrate how you can be compliant with all accreditation and industry required standards.
- Be mindful and be able to develop potential further move opportunities
- To ensure the accurate entry of data input to relevant company system
Requirements
PRINCE2 Practitioner which is the commonly used accredited approach for end-to-end project management, or equivalent, but must be able to follow the processes set out by the Project Management Institute
CSCS Hold a relevant construction skills certification scheme card
IOSH Managing Safely ensures you can assess and control risks and hazards and reflections on good practice.
