Job Purpose

To provide subject matter expertise and oversight of Trade & Transaction Reporting for the Bank and assist Bank ABC in building and developing the relevant processes and target organization (TOM) to ensure regulatory compliance in this space. The scope of the role currently covers MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and CSDR as well as addressing BAU organizational alignment for this critical function (re recommendations from and Kaizen in this area).

Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Deliverables

Bank ABCIB is looking to enhance its Trade & Transaction Reporting capabilities in T&FM (Treasury & Financial Markets) to ensure that it continues to suitably support its business whilst adhering to all existing and new regulatory reporting obligations under EU/UK regulatory requirements.

Working with the Trade and Transaction Manager the successful applicant will provide subject matter expertise and oversight to enable the Bank enhance its Corporate Treasury & Financial Markets trading and Sales Operations.

Key deliverables of the role:-

1. Manage and oversee the T&TR BAU function within the first line for the Bank and work closely with Project Transformation Team and Regulatory Compliance to ensure that any changes to the reporting regulations are picked-up through horizon scanning

2. Work with T&TR Manager to ensure Change the Bank (CTB) strategic projects are successfully transitioned to BAU

3. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of trade and transaction reporting across various regulatory regimes

4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to trade and transaction reporting

5. Monitor and analyse trade and transaction reporting data and metrics to identify trends (Daily and Monthly MI), risks (KRI) and opportunities for improvement

6. Support internal and external audits and regulatory inquiries related to trade and transaction reporting

Notable deliverables include the successful implementation and ongoing reporting of:

EMIR

To report all in-scope bank trades and fulfil its obligations towards client reporting. Working with Compliance, ensure regular monitoring of trades is consistent with the regulatory requirements.

MiFID
Working with internal stakeholders and the external Approved Publication Arrangement (APA) service provider to implement a robust post-trade reporting process and ensure ongoing compliance to the relevant regulatory requirements.
Ensure the Bank s current MiFID transaction reporting remains compliant to all regulatory requirements
Manage and escalate as necessary reporting breaches and exceptions to the regulatory reporting Authorities including FCA


SFTR
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the SFTR reporting system
Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and industry standards for SFTR reporting
Perform data quality checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of SFTR reports

Continued on going monitoring for new trade and transaction reporting requirements and assist in the project implementation of these requirements.

Work with relevant stakeholders to help further develop the T&TR capability within the Bank.
Work collaboratively with group IT to implement fixes (remediation) for issues discovered during the course of BAU
Work alongside external consultants (Kaizen) to ensure that the Bank is fully compliant by conducting accuracy testing of the Bank s regulatory submissions covering all the regulatory reporting regimes in line with market practice
Assist the T&TR Manager on the below :
o Regularly liaising with Group IT
o Creation and submission of the reporting files
o Quality assurance of the submissions
o Assist in the delivery of T&TR Treasury Projects and KTP and provide regular feedback to T&TR Manager thus ensuring milestones are met
Maintain procedures and process maps

7. Perform outsourcing risk assessment for outsourced regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) Third-Party Risk management (TPRM) requirements

8. Kondor+ Back Office (KTP) module implementation and impact with T&TR

9. Assist the Building of the overall Operations team capabilities to ensure adequate coverage and technical expertise to support the T&FM strategy as well as T&TR regulatory reporting needs

10. Cooperate with London T&FM & Group Treasury Business Management to oversee T&FM related requirements such as:

T&FM Operational Risk Management tasks such as KRI s and RCSA s and adherence to Group Wide Control Standards
Complete OREs with cooperation of compliance for Enterprise Risk Management
Administration of trading and counterparty limits on relevant electronic platforms and the Bank s internal ABC Edge FX distribution channel.
Perform reconciliations between F/O Risk Management Application (Kondor+) and regulatory submissions to ensure consistency between our regulatory reports and submissions to the Trade Repository/National competent Authorities (NCA) both for UK and European jurisdictions
Assist with 3 Way Regulatory Reporting and the Daily 2 Way Regulatory Reporting
Work with the T&TR manager to STP Transactions from bond trading platforms to Kondor+ to minimize manual touchpoints thereby minimizing errors in regulatory submissions and incorrect reporting. Liaising with external vendors and Group IT to achieve this.
