This is a remote position.
TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful, award winning firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an Accounts Team Leader on a permanent, remote working basis. With strong values, a modern approach to accounting and offering lots of autonomy, this is a great opportunity to be part of a market leading accountancy practice. You will work in a mixed capacity across accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, utilising cloud software such as Xero, Quickbooks and Sage. As an Accounts Team Leader, you will be expected to help the Manager in leading a team as well as overseeing a client portfolio.
You can be based anywhere in the UK.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation and review of sole trader, partnership and Limited Company accounts
- Reviewing and maintaining client s books and records
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Preparation and reviewof management reports to suit the client s needs
- Preparation and reviewof corporateand personal tax returns
- Providingcloud accountingservices for clients on Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3+ experience working within Accountancy Practice
- ACA/ACCA Qaulfieid, or qualified by experience
- Must be able to manage a client portfolio with strong communication skills
- Proficient using cloud systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
- Experience of overseeing work, or managing a team would be advantageous
Benefits
- £35,000- £42,000 per annum
- 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
