The Role

The General Operative will report to the Production Manager and where the objective is the production of customer components to recognised Surface Technology standards.

Tasks

What will you do?

To be involved in the production of customer components
To ensure safe handling procedures are observed, when processing parts.
To ensure all Process Control Sheets are completed and signed
To ensure all customer directions are followed, from Drawings or DBI s.
To ensure that the quality system is adhered to in order to maintain ISO9001.
Ensure good, orderly housekeeping, in your process area.
To enable the process of products to meet production scheduling.
Packing of finished goods.
Polishing when required (must use mask provided)
Masking/de-masking of customer products.
Jigging/de-jigging as required.
To maintain and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy, including the control of hazardous substances.
To ensure all Environmental aspects, of your process, adhere to the company ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation.
To maintain confidentiality at all times within the area of your responsibility.
Any other duties that you may be called upon to perform by the Management.

Requirements

What do we look for?

Experience in plating
An awareness of Health and Safety regulations is required
Fork lift truck licence desirable
