IRC are working with a wellestablished privatelyowned SME in the Communications IaaS space with an outstanding reputation for retaining and developing their staff and delivering innovative solutions to a wide range of customers.
The marketing team is growing and we are looking for a Sales Office Manager to lead a small Sales Support team (2 people currently) and take overall responsibility for overseeing the sales support function improving operational efficiency analysing the effectiveness of existing processes and implementing new processes and procedures as required.
Role & Responsibilities
- General organisation of sales office and sales support function
- Overseeing and assisting with the sales order processing
- Reviewing and optimising processes and procedures
- Identify and implement new processes as required in support of continual improvement
- Collating and presenting performance reports as required
- Attending interdepartmental meetings as required
- Liaising with customers and suppliers as required
- Assisting with the response to tenders and collation of information
- Acting as an escalation point
- Assign training programmes making sure the department is constantly upskilled
- Conducting one 2 ones with team members as required
- Quality and ISO Auditor Training will be provided
- Manage and Motivate Sales Support Staff Annual appraisal and development program
Skill set and Experience
Industry experience is not strictly required for the role however it would be beneficial if you have have worked in or have an interest in the telecoms industry or some form of IT
- Strong administration skills / experiences (5 years)
- Team leader / management experience (2 yrs min)
- Experience working within a sales team / environment.
- Customer facing experience.
- Experience of working in business that suppliers to businesses (B2B)
- Process management / improvement
HYBRID WORKING: Offices are based in near Guildford and they operate a hybrid working model which will likely be 2 days in the office per week.
