Job Purpose
Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced GIS Consultant based in the Southeast to join the team and support them with improving the way data is collected using GIS techniques and expanding this area of the business. You will use your skills and expertise with the ArcGIS platform / GIS-based solutions to assist our client s customers with installation, configuration, and use.

Overview of Responsibilities
You will develop desktop, web and mobile applications suing Esri technology.
You will be the first point of contact for technical advice and consult with clients to really understand their requirements to develop best practice and deliver GIS based solutions on time and to budget.
You will support the business development and sales teams by providing technical expertise.
You will be responsible for keeping up to date with the ArcGIS platform, finding new ways it can be used to solve real world problems.
You will be collating GIS information, converting data from differing sources, such as Autodesk DWG s
You will work with the Vislock GIS platform to implement and develop improvements
You will be working with high precision GNSS systems and Augmented reality to improve workflows.
Experience required
Essential
Hands-on Experience of using ESRI platform and a passion for GIS
Driven to innovate and improve workflows with new technology, such as Augmented Reality and GIS.
Ability to work with hardware and software to create GIS systems
3 Years or more experience in ESRI ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online Portal
Able to convert and manipulate data from Autodesk DWG format to custom GIS files with relevant look and metadata.
Adept at Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills with the confidence to brief work teams.
You will have experience establishing and developing relationships with clients.

Experienced working with ESRI Apps, such as:
Field Maps
Survey123
Workforce
Quick Capture
Site Scan
Able to code with Python and ArcPy to automate certain workflows
Autodesk AutoCAD Experience
Experience of integrating GIS systems and Augmented Reality
CSCS Card for site visits to construction sites
Experienced in managing and growing new GIS offerings
