As a Principal Hardware Engineer you will be working to define develop and verify cutting edge hardware platforms that our customers will use to introduce a brand new and often disruptive technology onto the market.
In this role you will take responsibility to ensure the correct Electronics design and development process and procedures are in place to deliver high quality design outputs from the design team. You will also directly engage with the customer to capture their requirements and specification and then continue to lead a multidisciplinary project team to design and develop the solution in support of our customer s goals.
To be successful in the role you will require excellent communication skills and relish the opportunity to rollup your sleeves and get stuck into development activities.

1. Digital and Analogue PCB circuit design and layout (Altium).
2. High speed digital PCB circuit design and layout including FPGAs SoCs ADC & DACs.
3. Power supply design.
4. System and circuit modelling (SPICE Python).
5. Leadership and support of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
6. Design and test for EMC and environmental compliance.
7. High volume manufacturing experience.
8. System modelling/ automation (SPICE Matlab Python).
9. Design and test for compliance testing.
10. Project planning and reporting.
11. Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements and apply new knowledge to enhance product development processes.
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
2. Proven experience (10 years) in electronics engineering.
3. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.4. Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment including reviews planning and retrospectives.
6. Eagerness to learn adapt and tackle new challenges.
1. Mechanical design with 3D CAD.
2. Software and firmware development in support of testing or interfacing to electronics (e.g. Python C/C VHDL Linux).
