Growth Specialist

The Accountants' Recruiter United Kingdom (Remote)


The Accountants Recruiter is working exclusively with our sister company the Accountants' Growth Club (formally known as The Accountants' Millionaires' Club) to find an outstanding and exceptional Growth Specialist to coach forward-thinking, ambitious accountancy entrepreneurs and small business owners.


About the AGC:

The Accountants' Growth Club was born to help accountancy small business owners grow and scale their practices in a sustainable fashion. They support owners of small accountancy firms on their growth journeys with private and group coaching, exclusive masterclasses and a great community of accountants who help and support each other every step of the way.


What you ll do:

  • Coach keen accountant entrepreneurs looking to sustainably grow and scale their practices
  • Support your members to grow their firm by utilising the full offering to members, e.g. our relationship with The Accountants' Recruiter, our professionally designed training programmes for members etc
  • Respond to enquiries to join the club and help convert enquiries into new members
  • Be active on LinkedIn
  • Connect with the AGC members and prospects regularly share and comment on the AGC content, industry influencers, AGC members and potential prospects' content on LinkedIn and other social media channels.
  • Strengthen your personal brand in helping small accountancy firm owners grow their practice
  • Replicate (and improve on) the AGC LinkedIn strategy to grow your own personal brand and help nurture prospects
  • Represent AGC at events and conferences, in particular Accountex, Xerocon and other trade shows or conferences that the AGC decides to exhibit at or attend as delegates
  • Contribute ideas to increase the effectiveness and execution of the AGC marketing plan
  • Grow and maintain own network of influencers, referrers and potential AGC members for the club
  • Facilitate on your own and/or in conjunction with fellow coaches regular AGC marketing webinars, virtual round tables and workshops for members
  • Contribute to webinar content to help increase the AGC mailing list


Is this you?

  • Team player who is happy to do what needs to be done to best serve our members; we work and pull together as a team. (AGC has a no divas policy.)
  • Experience in a client-facing role within professional services, ideally working with or in accounting firms
  • Likes helping facilitate others to achieve their goals and may have a coaching qualification
  • Confidence when in the limelight, and able to deliver online and in-person material in an engaging fashion
  • Happy to work semi-autonomously and unsupervised from home, but enjoy the support and backup of a team
  • Organised
  • Looking to be with your next employer for the medium and long-term, so you can personally develop and take an active part in growing a market-leading business.
  • Positive energy levels
  • Sociable and a great communicator
  • Good with technology, particularly cloud-based applications such as LinkedIn, Google Suite, Zoom
  • Able to facilitate group-based video calls
  • UK-based with legal authorisation to work in the UK


What s on offer:

  • Full-time position (but would consider someone working part-time for 30 hours a week)
  • Formal training as a coach, that would lead to an accredited coaching qualification
  • £35,000 rising to £45k-£50k + Bonus (dependent on performance) in year 1
  • Pension scheme, 25 days holiday + BH
  • IT equipment (laptop, etc) will be provided
