Job Title: Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Pay: 11.50
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Promote independence and support positive behaviour.
- Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (child and adult).
- Mandatory training in the following areas:
- Safeguarding Adults and Children
- Moving and Handling (People and Objects)
- Infection Prevention and Control
- GDPR and Data Protection Awareness
- Health and Safety Awareness
- First Aid Awareness
- Equality and Diversity
- Mental Capacity Act / DoLS
- Safeguarding Adults and Children
Optional Training (Preferred but not Required):
- Nourish Training
- Food Hygiene and Safety
- COSHH
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- PEG Feeding
- Immediate Life Support
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Epilepsy Awareness and Buccal Administration
- Dysphagia/Safe Swallowing
- Stoma and Diabetes Experience
- Mental Health and Dementia Awareness
