The Role

As a DTI Trainer, you'll contribute to learning and development efforts to help WNC maximize technology and applications usage. This includes Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Finance, HR, and Social Care systems, all while aligning with CIPD best practice.

Accountable to:

You'll report to the Systems Improvement Manager, Learning and Development, Corporate Services, and also have a "dotted line" relationship with the Programme Manager Change and Adoption in DTI, Corporate Services.

Tasks

  • Design and deliver tailored learning interventions for technology and applications.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and contribute to strategy development.
  • Partner with customers for technology-focused training needs analysis.
  • Conduct research, propose solutions, and manage external providers.
  • Ensure course materials are updated and develop courses aligned with standards.
  • Continuously improve the Learning and Development Service.
  • Maximize productivity and challenge discriminatory practices.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in developing learning solutions that contribute to organizational goals. (Essential)
  • Experience in developing learning and development strategies. (Essential)
  • Ability to grasp systems quickly and provide training. (Essential)
  • Effective use of Office 365 or willingness to learn. (Essential)

Knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems, with core skills in Office 365. (Essential)
  • Knowledge of adaptable training techniques. (Essential)

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in developing technology-focused training strategies. (Essential)
  • Experienced IT trainer with blended learning approach. (Essential)

Education, Training, and Qualifications:

  • CIPD L5 qualified (or equivalent, e.g., IT qualification). (Essential)
