Your mission

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the project management team in UK
  • Overall responsibility of the execution phase for the regional solar inverter & battery storage supply contracts with a total portfolio volume of several gigawatts
  • Identify and address project risks and roadblocks to minimize project delays and disruptions
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the team
  • Management of escalations and solution finding (internal/external)
  • Interface management with other departments (e.g. sales, legal, product/R&D, operation, logistic, service)
  • Introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve project outcomes and increase team efficiency
  • Project status & risk reporting to the high management

Your profile

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineer or a similar field
  • ~5 years of experience in technical design or project management in the solar PV or battery storage industry
  • Ideally some years of team management experience in the project environment
  • Technical and commercial knowledge about battery storage projects is a plus
  • Strong solution- and goal-oriented mindset
  • Excellent team player with strong social skills
  • Assertiveness and strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and used to work on a multi-task environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Fluent command of written and spoken English at least C1. Chinese language skills are valuable
