Job title: Showroom Sales and Social Media Assistant
Reports to: London Sales Manager
Location: Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour
Chase Erwin are looking for a highly organised, self-starter to join our luxury showroom as a trade sales professional with an immediate start. Due to the luxury nature of our brand, the ideal candidate will have experience in textiles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the presentation of the showroom, ensuring it is beautifully presented and ready to welcome interior designers.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, have strong initiative and an approachable attitude whilst showcasing exceptional communication skills, they will support the London sales rep with booking appointments and logging daily sample requests, whilst having the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. You will also provide feedback to management on what designers are asking for and provide an impeccable and friendly experience expected by our clients.
There will be weekly sales meetings with the London Sales Manager and report to management weekly. You will work to monthly sales targets with the sales teams.
You will also be responsible for curating our Social Media posts across all platforms, as well as blogs, website updates, and digital newsletters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a luxury experience for Showroom visitors
- Manage incoming enquiries and provide excellent customer service and follow-up
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Actively contribute to overall company target by taking the initiative to reach and exceed individual targets
- Generate orders and follow-ups as per the sales process
- Ensure the showroom is immaculately presented at all times
- Ensure showroom window displays are always fresh and inviting rotating fabrics regularly
- Work with the sampling department to ensure the showroom is well-stocked
- Report to management weekly on targets, opportunities and risks
- Report to management on Showroom events and presentations
- Support and host sales activities such as client meetings, company and industry events
Skills:
- Ability to be both a team player and efficiently work independently with self-motivation.
- Deliver a sales-focused and proactive approach with a positive attitude
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage a number of projects at the same time under pressure
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Strong communication skills
- High-level competency on all digital and social media platforms
- High-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Mail, and CRM
- Passion for customer service and forming strong client relationships
- Previous sales experience would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Mertex would be beneficial
- An understanding and interest in the Interior Design industry
