Logistics amp Operations Manager

Fresh high-quality products are made available 24/7 in patented connected fridges and restocked every day by full-time delivery employees. The service enables companies to put CSR at the heart of their organisation and favours talent retention.
Foodles has raised 40M so far and is extending its activity to London to become the European leader for new gen B2B cafeterias! Thus, we are recruiting an A team to conquer British companies and reinvent the way Londoners eat at lunchtime.
Your mission:
As Logistics & Operations Manager for Foodles in the UK, you'll oversee:
- Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Picking and Dispatch
- Client Deliveries and Food Waste Management
- Product and Maintenance (Fridges, app )
Your primary missions are to:
- Guarantee seamless daily operations 7/7. In particular ensure timely deliveries, accurate quantities, and highest quality standards for all our clients
Enable operations to scale both in volume and geographically. - Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll initially have 2 key team members to manage:
- Delivery Manager: Oversees all drivers and delivery shifts
- Business Operations Manager: Responsible for analytics, forecasting as well as Product & Maintenance
As we re growing fast, You will be tasked with redefining the optimal organisation for the ops team.
Your responsibilities:
Business analytics & Forecasting
- Analyse past consumption data and create forecasts
- Create weekly production and dispatch plans
- Set up dashboards, monitor and report on KPIs
- Ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and uploaded correctly
Daily Operations
- Manage daily activities in the kitchen, the warehouse and evening client deliveries
- Oversee stock control, inventory, and order fulfilment using our internal tools
- Handle staff rotas, check payroll hours, and manage holidays
- Respond quickly and efficiently to any operational challenges
Client Installations and Relations
- Carry-out pre-installation technical visits on client sites and tradeshows
- Collaborate with the account management team to meet client needs
Admin & Legal
- Ensure all legal requirements are met, including Food Health & Safety policies and risk assessments
- Manage ongoing operational contracts, e.g., fleet management, insurance, etc.
Product and Tech (with France)
- Coordinate IT projects for the with the French team
- Cover Fridge Maintenance with the French team
Strategic Planning
- Plan for future operational growth (team, fridge )
- Recruit for new positions as demand increases
- Develop processes and set up new systems to accommodate increased volume
Your profile:
You are the right person for us if you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Background: 5+ years experience in logistics and operations, ideally in a food / catering industry with 7/7 operations and B2B deliveries
- Management: Successfully managed and grown a team of 10+
- Skills: Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
- Traits: Very analytical, organized and process-driven
- Personality: Active problem solver, calm under pressure
- Attitude: Proactive, with a can-do mindset, hands-on
- Flexibility: Willing to have flexible working hours when necessary to cover all operations
And last but nos least: you have a status that allows you to work in the UK.
