This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Legal Support Manager with GDPR experience to join a major IT infrastructure programme for one of our Big 4 clients' most important customers.

The successful candidate would integrate into the consultancy's team and work directly with the end client, providing legal advice on GDPR regulations in relation to the rollout of their "cloud first" strategy across the global environment.

Type of job: Contract / freelance
Working hours: Part-time (20 hours / week)
Duration:01.11.2022 - 31.12.2022 with high likelihood of extensions

This is a remote position.

Key activities:
  • Legal evaluation of data handling and compliance to GDPR regulations for a rollout of a "cloud-first" strategy
  • Ensure stakeholders deliver their GDPR requirements
  • Evaluate and makes recommendations/decisions on technical options relating to GDPR

Requirements

  • All candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in the EU or UK
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience with GDPR related matters in a cloud environment
  • Significant knowledge of the GDPR regulatory framework and data protection
  • Ability to support the client in delivering the key activities above
  • Good communication and documentation skills (standards and guidance)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong team player
